Step off the patio and into adventure when you stay in Jokerville-101! In winter, you’ll enjoy unrivaled ski access—ski down to the West Wall lift just a few yards away. Ski in right to the front door! There is also a groomed trail to and from the slopes located at the back of the building. Store your skis in our patio locker.
In summer, the mountain trail is calling…and only 10 steps away. Casually stroll among the flowers—Crested Butte is the Wildflower Capital of Colorado! Or hop on your bike and pop over to the adventure center at the resort base—just a quick ride away. Take the chairlift up the mountain and score some sweet downhill action.
After a hard day of fun, it’s time to take it down a notch.
Mealtime is quick and easy on the induction range in our fully stocked kitchen. With all the pots and pans you could think to need, it’s like you never left home. Store groceries in our roomy pantry. Essential spices are also available. Please be sure to bring coffee, tea, sugar, and any specialty seasonings that are must-haves for you.
When the weather is nice, send those kiddos down the patio and up the stairs to hang out on the simple playground while you cook inside or use the grill provided in the second-floor common area. Or, join the little ones for sandwiches on the picnic tables!
If cooking is not at the top of your list, then not to worry! Crested Butte’s unbeatable downtown restaurants and shops are less than a 10-minute drive down the mountain.
Traveling here in winter? Our free, on-call, local shuttle service is just a phone call away and can take you where you need to go—resort base area or downtown. Leave the car at home!
When your tummy is full and the sun is setting, pull out a couple lawn chairs from the ski locker and pour yourself a glass of wine. You won’t want to miss the gorgeous sunset from our west-facing patio.
Retire inside as temps drop and cuddle around a fire in the fireplace. Free firewood is located just one floor above the condo. Pull out any of the provided books and games, and wind down from the day.
With one King bed and two Full beds, the family can rest easy when it’s time to catch some ZZZs. Make sure to bring the entire family—our condo is dog friendly!

NOTE: Hot Tub is indoor and only open during ski season! BBQ grills are snowed in during winter. Ski-in/ski-out access typically begins around late December, depending on snowfall. We also have a free shuttle that can drop you at the base in ski season!

There are about 1.5 flights of stairs up to the first floor, to access J-101.
There are two parking spaces available for guests.

Please note: There is no AC in this condo. There is no elevator on the premises. The balcony/deck area is a shared space.

Please NOTE: Our condo complex is located in the high country of the Rocky Mountains. During winter, weather can change abruptly and road conditions can and will get treacherous. Please winterize your vehicle. Often, AWD or 4WD alone is not enough!! To get to our location, we strongly recommend one of the following: snow tires or chains for your tires.

Dog Friendly
Guests are required to inform the office/host and pay a non-refundable pet fee if they plan to bring a dog.
Dogs must be at least one year of age to stay. Two dog max per condo.
Please use the provided dog sheets for the furniture! Guests are responsible for any property damage/extra cleaning.

  Very nice condo- clean, comfortable, good beds, and very well stocked kitchen- would stay here again. The property description was completely accurate. It is nicer than the pictures make it look. One of the baths was en suite and the other was so close it might as well have been. Water pressure was low but not unexpected given age of building. Washer/Dryer was not in unit but just down the hall so still very convenient. Very quiet stay. We did a late check in but the maps and instructions were extremely clear and helpful.

  We were in Crested Butte for the summer and biking. This location was great for the downhill biking and we were able to come back to the condo for lunch. We also road the cross country trails in town and then rode the bike path back up to the mountain, which was great. The condo was well stocked and clean. I would stay here again!

  Our 2br/ 2 bath condo was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare good meals. Internet was good for streaming movies and watching TV (the condo also had cable). We walked out the door and skied right down to the West Wall lift. For lunch and at the end of the day, we got on the West Wall lift and skied right back to the condo. Customer service of onsite staff was exceptional and communications with the owners was also easy and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to CB!

  The main reason we picked this unit was the easy ski-in/ski-out. Just walk with your skis about 20 feet to the snow and ski to the west wall lift, where you can then ski down to the base and the Silver Queen or Red Lady lifts. Skiing back could be done on the green Aspen Road trail. Because of a rope going up the West Wall lift, you couldn't ski back across the base area to the condo. You had to take the west wall lift back up.
  
  You will have to carry all your stuff up outside stairs to the sidewalk/back porch approach to the unit. All units in Jokerville will require that, with 2nd and 3rd floor units requiring more. The downside to being on the 1st floor is the noise from above.
  The condo itself is nice, but a bit dated. The TVs were not smart TVs and the one in the main room has a black line going through it. For $300 at the most, an upgrade to a smart TV should be done. Even though the furniture looks dated, the seating was very comfortable. Locking and unlocking the door from the balcony was a challenge, It requires lifting the handle really hard to turn the key to lock/unlock. We were told it was just a poor design. The kitchen was well stocked.
  
  The hot tub was in a small common-area room accessed from the unit's door to the common-area hallway. It was dark and gloomy looking. We passed.
  
  The bottom line for us is we would recommend this place for the ski-in/ski-out ability. In the summer, I would probably go higher up to reduce the noise.

The stairs access is noted in all of our listings, so guests are aware of what to expect when they arrive. As with many condo complexes such as ours--one of the original complexes at the ski area in CB--noise between condos can sometimes be heard. We ask that guests observe "quiet hours," and we have staff on site who are happy to address noise complaints, should there be any. Most of our guests are extremely respectful and understanding of others. While the TVs themselves are not “smart,” you are able to access streaming services via the DVD player provided. In addition to the DVD player, the owner also provides a wonderful selection of DVDs, numerous games, and books for entertainment purposes. We did see the line on the TV that you referenced, so thank you for letting us know! And thanks again for your review and commentary! --Christine

  It was our 1st time in this area. The condo unit was very clean, comfy and perfect location. It was off season, so there were probably only 2 other units occupied. Half of the building was empty & under repair to replace the sewer system. The leasing office was empty, so never had any contact. We really didn't need anything, so it was fine. Overall, everything was great and I would stay here again.

  As always, we loved staying in J101 for its location and amenities. We like to cook, so the well-stocked kitchen was a plus. So easy to get to the lifts, and walk to the base area. Afternoons are spectacular with the west face and sunsets. Mornings are a little dark and cold, and the parking lot was treacherous given the recent weather conditions. Staff was always responsive to our requests although we did not receive the towel and paper goods replacement we were promised in the guidelines. So we ran out of toilet paper and were a bit short on towels. But that didn’t take away from the overall positive experience.
