Beautifully remodeled, Jokerville-202 boasts top-of-the-line finishes including tile flooring, wood-beamed ceilings, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, all new baths (one with a walk in shower), plus comfortable seating and dining areas! Enjoy a new King bed in the master, a new King bed in the front bedroom, new dishes in the kitchen, and more recent, new upgrades to perfect your stay with us. A large, open living-dining area is planned around a massive stone fireplace. The fireplace is wood-burning, and we supply the wood. The bedrooms are spacious with large closets. Two sliding glass doors give access to the large balcony. Enjoy views of the town of Mt. Crested Butte and Washington Gulch. The unit is fully furnished, down to the linens and dishes. There’s even a boot dryer. J-202 is conveniently located steps from the slopes and trails with ski access right out the back door.

NOTE: Hot Tub is indoor and only open during ski season! BBQ grills are snowed in during winter. Ski-in/ski-out access typically begins around late December, depending on snowfall. We also have a free shuttle that can drop you at the base in ski season!

There are about 2.5 flights of exterior stairs to access J-202.
There are two parking spaces available for guests.

Please note: There is no AC in this condo. There is no elevator on the premises. The balcony/deck area is a shared space.

Please NOTE: Our condo complex is located in the high country of the Rocky Mountains. During winter, weather can change abruptly and road conditions can and will get treacherous. Please winterize your vehicle. Often, AWD or 4WD alone is not enough!! To get to our location, we strongly recommend one of the following: snow tires or chains for your tires.

Our complex is ski-in/ski-out, and the Jokerville building has great ski access - perfect for beginners. Your condo is near the West Wall lift. A short walk, skis on, and you are on the slopes! You can ski-in to the end of the building.

Complex amenities are sure to complete your experience. An on-site office and staff make it easy to check-in/out and answer any questions that arise during your stay. We have our own private shuttle service that is free with your stay. The shuttle runs daily during the ski season from 8:00 a.m. until midnight. During peak summer, the shuttle runs 4:00 p.m. - midnight, Fridays and Saturdays. They’ll even pick up and drop off right outside your condo! During the winter, you can enjoy a soak in the indoor hot tub, located on the first floor of each building. Sign up for private 30-minute soaks. The sauna is open year round. For added convenience, every building has 2 coin-operated washers and dryers for guest use. Everything you need for a comfortable stay!

  This was our 6th study in the San Moritz and it will stay our go to but this unit has some issues. It, by far, has the prettiest pictures online, but the furniture is too large for the space making it difficult to walk around and the dishwasher is broken. The views from this building are not as nice as Paradise and International and we had to get used to being the welcoming committee as our balcony access was also the top of the stairway. Balconies in the other buildings are not also the primary access point like they are in Jokerville.

    Thanks for being a repeat guest and taking time to review. I'm sorry your felt that the furniture in this unit was too large for the space. There is a trick to getting the dishwasher cycle to start; there should be a note on the appliance. However, we are happy to help with one call to the office. I think the views from Jokerville are wonderful. The other two buildings are a mile up the road and therefore, just higher up on the slope. In Jokerville, you do access units from the balcony. In other buildings, balcony access is out the back. The office is happy to answer any questions regarding your unit prior to your stay. Thanks! --Christine

  Very nice condo with three spacious bedrooms and two separate bathrooms which worked out perfectly for our group. We loved the fireplace and the ease of retrieving firewood from an interior shared closet in a common hall. We cooked multiple meals and had everything we needed as far as cookware and utensils. It was an added bonus to have directTV to watch the football games at night and we had no issue with the wifi. The beds were comfortable too! We would definitely stay here again. Parking was a mess but couldn't be helped because it snowed literally 15 inches the night we arrived. Our college "kids" used the hot tub every single day and we also used the shared washer and dryer.

  This condo unit was the quintessential mountain experience. The place is spotless, plenty of space, the kitchen is top notch with great appliances and good assortment of cooking pans and utensils. Just watch your head on the stove vent hood, it’s a little low. The view was spectacular and the location works well for a family with teens who want to come and go to the condo during the day of skiing. Getting to the condo is harder than skiing out of the condo. Look for Oh Be Joyful run off West Wall lift, it’s easier than taking the black directly down West Wall lift.

  We rented Jokerville 202 in late May/early June with 2 young children. It was a GREAT place to stay. The condo was updated, very clean, had plenty of space, and all the needed amenities. The San Moritz staff were very friendly and helpful too. The location of this condo can't be beat. It's on the mountain, so you can just walk out the back door and be on a trail to the mountain base area or a hike. It is also located close to the trail to town and only a short drive from town. We will stay here again!

  We just returned from a family ski trip and had a great time. Best thing about this condo is that you literally walk five steps out the back door to put on your skiis. Layout was nice and made it easy to organize our ski gear. We are a family of four so each our sons had their own rooms but the place is truly set up for two couples and four children. Main room might be a bit cramped but is stocked for eight people. Downsides would be the stairs up to the condo (no elevator) and beds and bedding need updating. However, the positives outway the negatives and we would definitely stay here again.

  We loved the condo at San Moritz. The layout was perfect for two couples, with each of us having our own room and bathroom. We liked having the space to put ski equipment. The kitchen was great for prepping meals and having the option of staying in. We also liked being able to ski out and in!
  
  One negative for us was the stairs - be aware that there are two LONG flights of stairs to get to the unit. Carrying gear at that altitude was a challenge!

  The condo we stayed in was fantastic! It was very clean, comfortable and the views were beautiful. The bedrooms were roomy and the bed I used was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, clean and well designed. Bathrooms have 2 sinks, which is very nice with multiple people, plus there was good water pressure.
  We were able to walk to the Grand Lodge as needed, either on the roads or via a make-shift dirt path and service road from the back of the condo. The only suggestion I would make is an 'official path or paths', not necessarily concrete but just a solid smooth well marked trails, which is easier to navigate when walking in the dark. Parking is limited at the base so getting to main area, events at the conference center or Grand Lodge is just easier to walk.

  We had a fun time in this condo. Very clean, roomy enough to comfortably sleep 4 adults and 3 kids. The ski in/ski out was a dream - so amazingly easy. The only critique is that the two queen beds aren't very comfortable. Oh, and the hot tub is in a small room, so not the best of settings... Otherwise a great place - fantastic location!
